One Pan Oven Blackened Salmon

Some nights you want to whip up dinner in less time than it takes you to search for a recipe or watch your favorite TV show. Let me introduce you to this simple one-pan blackened salmon recipe!

Blackened Salmon is a crowdpleaser entrée for sure. It’s easy, friendly for low-carb diets, and makes a great “change it up” when it seems like you’re in a cooking rut. This salmon recipe is baked in the oven with a homemade blackened seasoning mix in under 30 minutes. It’s perfectly flaky, full of wonderful spices, and has a crispy exterior everyone will love!

Blackening seasoning
1 Tbsp Paprika
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp Onion Powder
1 Tbsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Fine Ground Premium Dark Roast
2 Tsp Thyme
2 Tsp Cayenne
2 Tsp Basil
2 Tsp Oregano
2 Tsp Smoked Salt

Combine and store any unused mix in airtight container or jar.

Preheat oven to 400°F. On a sheet pan spread fresh green beans evenly on a pan and sprinkle pecans and lightly toss with 1 T oil and bake 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and hollow out the spot for each piece of salmon. Place fish on pan and sprinkle a heavily with blackening seasoning. Top with thinly sliced cold butter as well as a few pats dispersed atop green beans. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes depending on how well you like your salmon. Dig in!
